|For this first batch from 2006 we have some cracking downloads to take with you and enjoy on your PSP, so read on for full details of PSP Guides Hot February Downloads.
The first surprise of January was to be had courtesy of 29Guide’s RSS video feed which dropped the trailer for the new version of The Hills Have Eyes into my PSP. Most 30 somethings will remember this film by Wes Craven in the late 70′s , in particular that bald scary guy with the huge eyes! On the surface of it, the story is no more than your usual, family-gets-pursued horror, much like the more recent by vastly inferior (in my opinion) Cabin Fever, but if this remake is anything like the original when it comes to scare tactics, it’ll be worth going to see. Anyway, enjoy the trailer, it looks and sounds very sharp on the PSP!
This new film from Steven Spielberg is inspired by actual events surrounding the Munich Olympics massacre in 1972 and follows the Mossad agents as they try to track down the terrorists involved. Enjoy the trailer, again thanks to 29Guide.
Woohoo another crop of cartoons from Fred! In this crop of cartoons we are treated to something different – not a cartoon! The first clip is a demonstration of the latest robot technology, remarkable footage. After that it’s onto more of what we have come to expect from Frederator – clever cartoons that look awesome on the PSP!
The top 5 cartoons from 2005 as voted by the Channels cartoon hungry visitors. This includes the superb “Everyone’s having more sex than me” song, not to be missed!
This is a remarkable video. Everyone knows the shaky cam footage of the JFK shooting, well now it has been re-produced as if it was shot with steady cam. Remarkable footage transferred to your PSP thanks to the del.icio.us RSS video feed. If, like me, you were fascinated by this remastered footage, check out the full DVD here, I’ve watched it from start to finish and it is excellent factual documentary.
Finally the one trailer I stopped watching halfway through…
I had not heard of The Inside Man when I started to watch this trailer, but it very quickly pulls you in. This bank robbery thriller sports the “perfect crime” tag line, on it’s own it had me intrigued. But as the trailer went on, it was clear the enticing plot also had a first class line up, including Clive Owen, Jodie Foster, and Denzel Washington!
So why did I stop watching the trailer before it concluded? Simply because it’s one of those films that looks so awesome I did not want to see any spoilers in the trailer!
And in this months Bizarre section….
A love story – with dolls. If you like the chucky movies I guess this might appeal to you… weird!
That concludes our first round up of media to move onto your PSP. If you have any comments, feedback, or suggestions for this regular section of PSPGuides, please get in touch !
